Biography
Judit was born in Barcelona but works and lives in London. She started to become interested in drawing and painting during her early childhood. She graduated in interior design in 2002 and worked in this field for 11 years. During her studies, she developed an interest in photography and learned photography techniques. She came back to painting in oil in 2009. A year later, she moved to London and, in 2014, completed a Foundation Diploma Course at the Hampstead School of Art with distinction. She was selected for an Art Emergent competition in her hometown Sabadell (Barcelona) where she had her first solo exhibition in 2015 and in 2016 at the Stone Space, Leytonstone, London. She has exhibited in London and Internationally. In May 2017, she moved to a studio in Bow, Limehouse Art Foundation building managed by ACAVA.
Artist Statement
Judit’s artworks are mainly inspired by nature. Inspiration plays an important role in the process of her work because she expresses what she feels which gives an openness and originality to her art. Since 2016, her art has mixed figurative and abstract elements together, with spiritual or conscious meanings.
Colour and form journey from representation towards abstraction, an open-ended journey that allows a sense of freedom and expression. This shift in the creative process is due to her increase in meditation practice in connection with nature and during her work.
She uses techniques such as oil painting, printmaking, drawing, and watercolour in her art. This helps her to have a range of expressive ways to progress in her making process.

2013 Judit won the Tate Modern Community Learning Award at the Rootstein Hopkins Drawing Exhibition, in London, UK.
2021 Judit won 2nd Place in the International Art Contest, on the theme Beauty of Water, by Sweety Saradha Arts, in the USA.
